Silverton, Colorado and the Alpine Loop

We took a Jeep out of Silverton and ran the Alpine Loop in late May, climbing up Engineer Pass and working through some of the snow that was still hanging on the higher sections. It’s a striking route, with sharp drops, big views, and a sense of real altitude the whole way.

I brought the DJI Air 2S and picked up several aerial shots along the run. The combination of the Jeep trail, the lingering snow, and the high country scenery made it one of the better off-road days we’ve had.
