About Ken

One cannot be summarized.

We index and categorize to handle the confusion of data in our attempt to understand the world.

But no indexing, no simple statement can capture the essence of a person.

We are not data.

But, man, can we produce it.

And through this marvelous medium we can display some of that to, in part, become defined. We begin to be known by what we do, how we live, what we produce, our musings, who we admire, And for those who look, an understanding emerges. Each element adds another dot in the panoramic picture of who the person is – but even that, if completed, would only be one aspect.

I’ve recently read from blog sites of some whom I’ve “known” for a lifetime. And what emerged, to me, was someone different. I had summarized that person – sloppily. My mistake.

So without answering what Ken is “about”, I will offer this website as my little light in a world of lights. And through it I hope to leave a path. And I am glad our paths have crossed.

Let’s live this great life.

And, together, share one or two things.

Hello Ken,

I just rediscovered the video you shot while ridge soaring on Comb Ridge with me in 2004. I really appreciate the video, I do not have much records of the flights over the years in the Brasov. I am just finishing a major refurbish on the Brasov, new paint and interior and upgraded instrument panel. Maybe we should go up for another flight sometime if you would like to.

Thanks!
Arlan

Hello Ken,

I have the Brasov back in the air again. It was a long rebuild but I have been making up for lost soaring time since getting it finished. Do not know if you have seen the one shot yesterday but will paste a link to it for you. Hope you enjoy it.

No rush, please call me at your convenience. Our family has recently purchased commercially zoned property on Florida’s largest headwater lake, lake Apopka and we wish to build a 60 x 100 ft Oversize Garage/hangar for seaplanes and seaplane maintenance and would like to pick your brain for ideas and would be happy to pick u up by seaplane and show you the property. Its located at 3714 Walker Road, Apopka Fl 32073 and is a former fish camp property that we intend to use for residences (6) plus office/hangar and in which we plan to do ECO tours by seaplane and with boats.
